Dad's Day

It was a special Father's Day for all the dads in our family this year. Our little guy couldn't be more lucky to have the best Grandpa, Granddaddy, and Dad in the world. He's got the best role models a little dog could ever ask for.

We started Father's Day weekend on Saturday with a trip to the Suwanee Farmer's Market where we picked up fresh eggs and fig perserves. When we made it back home we cooked up an awesome breakfast of blueberry pancakes, cheese grits, and eggs. Mr. Marshall went down for a nap and then we took a trip to Michael's favorite store, Lowe's, where he and little dog tinkered around the store for a while looking at man stuff...

Saturday evening we headed over to see Granddaddy Dawson. The three boys grilled up delicious fish and steaks together on Granddaddy's Green Egg.

On Father's Day we went to church where Marshall went to the nursery for the second week in a row. He seems to enjoy his new little friends and has done really well in there with the nice ladies that take care of him. That afternoon we went to visit Grandpa Kirchner Daddy-O. Marshall and Grandpa played in the big mirror in the den. Video coming soon...it is a true testimate to just how LOUD Marshall is becoming!

Here's to all the great dads out there! Happy Father's Day!
