It was our turn to venture up to Burt's Pumpkin Farm this weekend! Michael's family has taken an annual fall trip up there for years and years. This year my parents joined in the fun. We left in the early morn on Sunday to ensure that (#1) Marshall slept in the car on the way up there and (#2) we beat the crazy crowds. Good thing we did...that place gets swamped. You would think those were the only pumpkins within 100 miles of Atlanta.
We couldn't have asked for a better fall day. It was beautiful and Little Dog looked so cute in his new winter coat and hat. It's likely that other folks there thought there was a celebrity on the premises the way our crazy family floated around in a mob taking pictures of Marshall and his cousins from all angles.
We even jumped in the hayride to see the talking pumpkins heads before we left. M was quite enthralled.
We headed to Amicolola State Park for a picnic brunch afterwards. Marshall spent most of the day enjoying the fact that so many of is "biggest fans" were there at one time! What a fun day!
