My mom is down for the count again. She had knee replacement surgery last week and will be home from work for a few months to recover and rehab. The first few weeks are pretty rough as far as pain and discomfort go but she is already showings positive signs of recovery. We are lucky to live so close so that we can help "take care" of her for a while. I use the words "take care" lightly because I am not sure how much help a 14 month old that insists on riding her medical equipment can really be. One thing we know for sure...he definitely lightens the mood and cheers her up.
"Hey Mom, can we get one of these for our house?"
"Grama, let me show you how to really use this thing..."
