Around this time year, shortly after the groundhog emerges from his burrow, we find ourselves greatly anticipating the first official sign that spring has sprung...the annual lighting of the grill! Mike had great enthusiasm this year, check out the picture above. Springtime has kicked off a season of exciting happenings in our house. Here are a few highlights:
Trip to North Carolina - Earlier this month we visited Erin, Zeb and CHarlie (the amazing TV watching Golden Retriever) in Mills River, NC. Erin is one of my dearest and best friends. We have been friends since High School. It is always so great to see her...we have the amazing ability to be able to pick up right where we left off.
Introducing our dueling Novara Aspen mountain bikes!
Louie hooked us up at REI with some fantastic mountain bikes (and all the other necessary equipment). So far I've had two crashes and and a pair of bruised shins. Not to comfy with trail riding quite yet...that needs to be a post of its own...stay tuned.
